Terms of Service

Last updated: March 7, 2026

1. Acceptance and Changes

By using empix (“the Service,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. We may change these terms, our pricing, or the availability of the Service at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the Service or any part of it, or terminate user accounts and remove content (including purchased pixels), at our discretion and without prior notice.

2. Pricing and Payment

Pricing changes over time. The cost of pixels is not fixed. We use a graduated pricing model that increases as more of the grid is sold.

  • First 500,000 pixels (one-time purchase): The first 500,000 pixels sold are sold as permanent, one-time purchases. For every 100,000 pixels sold in this tier, the price per pixel increases by one dollar (e.g., first 100k at $1/pixel, next 100k at $2/pixel, and so on up to 500k).
  • After 500,000 pixels (recurring subscription): Once the grid reaches 500,000 pixels sold, the remaining pixels are sold on a recurring monthly subscription basis at one dollar per pixel per month. There is no cap on how many months you may subscribe. If you stop renewing your subscription, your pixels will be removed from the grid and your access to display content on those pixels will end.

You are responsible for keeping payment methods current. Failure to pay or renew may result in removal of your pixels as described above.

3. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to host, link to, or display content that:

  • Promotes or facilitates illegal activity (including drug sales or other controlled substances where prohibited)
  • Constitutes pornography or sexually explicit material
  • Doxes, harasses, or exposes private or sensitive information about others without consent
  • Promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Constitutes spam, unsolicited advertising, or automated scraping/bots in violation of our systems
  • Attempts to disrupt the Service (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, abuse of APIs, or similar)
  • Infringes intellectual property or other rights of third parties
  • Violates applicable law or the policies of the platforms you link to (e.g., Reddit, Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, and similar communities)

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and remove pixels without refund when we determine, in our sole discretion, that use violates these terms or is harmful to the community or the Service.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share credentials. We are not liable for unauthorized use of your account.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service or from our removal of content, termination of accounts, or changes to pricing or availability.

6. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
